Family Care Counseling is a nondenominational program developed to minister to the spiritual, mental, emotional and behavioral needs of the Christian individual and family. Family Care Counseling is the counseling ministry of Living Word of God Ministries, Inc. located at 4371 76th Avenue North, Pinellas Park, Florida.
Family Care Counseling strictly adheres to the client's right of confidentiality. Should the client wish the counseling center to consult with another individual or organization, a Release of Information form is to be signed before any such consultation. Should a client make statements that are perceived as suggesting potential physical harm to themselves or others, the judgment of the Christian Counselor will determine the limits of confidential boundaries. It is a state law that when abuse of children is reported, the Counselor is required to report information of the occurrence to HRS. The Counselor may be compelled to reveal confidential information in the event of legal action.
The Christian Counselor is not a paid staff member of Living Word of God Ministries, Inc. and is solely supported by the counseling fees. The fee for counseling is payable by check and is to be received prior to your session. Your check is to be made out to "Family Care Counseling". A $25.00 fee will be charged for any check that is returned. The fee per 50 minute counseling hour is on a sliding scale. Payment by check or PayPal is required in advance of your telephone appointment.
Insurance reimbursements are to be filed by you to your
respective agency. Upon request, a receipt will be given to you to file with
your insurance company for reimbursement to you. The counseling center is not
responsible if an insurance agency does not reimburse counseling fees.
Family Care counseling has the right to refuse clients if determined they would
be better served through a referral.
